1. THE HEADLINE ITEM: In what is termed as “terrifying” a House member has conducted (with his staff) a complete review of the Obamacare legislation passed this year. The results are similar to what we can expect in other nations who have taken federal control of their health insurance industry. And yesterday the voters in Missouri rejected the most important provision of the law by 71%. Will Health Care be an issue weeks from now in the November election? 2. THE PRACTICAL DILEMMA: Practically speaking, isn’t this one of the dumbest things a church could do? Especially a BLACK church, in a city that is already highlighting recent racial tensions? Who on earth thinks this is a wise idea. And now that the officer involved is injured, should the church pay his hospital/medical bills, in FULL?
