At midnight EST Townhall.com publishes Kevin McCullough’s weekly column this week that focuses on President Obama’s statement from the Rose Garden yesterday and asks the important question of whether or not the ‘O’ministration is being purely politically exploitative by weighing in on the Trayvon Martin shooting. From the matter that an eye-witness now seems to back Zimmerman’s original story, to the fact that while President Obama found “his own son’s identity” at stake in the Martin shooting, but seems uninterested in equally harsh crimes committed in reverse. 1. Gloria Allred today called for an arrest of the Icon of Talk Radio–Rush Limbaugh. On message boards, chat rooms, facebook and twitter, the call for Limbaugh to be fired, boycotted, etc, still rings out. All the while President Obama is sending the man he most trusts to be on shows that make far worse objects of women. And get this–Obama’s guy this week did a hit job on Romney and Santorum for not denouncing Rush stronger. Keith Olbermann explained it this week–summarized, “If you’re a liberal man, saying insulting things to conservative women… is NOT misogyny.” BTW… How misogynistic is the new ABC television network’s show “Good Christian B@#%s?” Agree? 2. The Oministration making all sorts of friends this week: Defense Secretary telling Congress that International “Permission” trumps U.S. Congressional “permission.” Additionally, the February deficit was $229,000,000,000. 1. Ok Kevin McCullough’s lovely bride didn’t think it was really all that important for Rush to apologize to Ms. Fluke (With the exception of the names and connotations themselves.) In other words on PRINCIPLE The Lovely Bride agreed with the assessment of El Rushbo. She even agreed in concept to his statement for accountability and tracking (shoot the videos and put them on the internet) — from a free market principle. If the tax-payers pay for it, we have the right to know what is done with it. But on this overly heated, mildly off-putting, and very distracting topic… What exactly ARE you allowed to call someone who forces someone else to pick up the tab for their over-heated sex life?
